The Avalon Institute of Applied Science was established in 1999 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, as a successor to Anamet Scientific Services Ltd. in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Avalon Institute works with a core staff based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and has built up a network of international specialists from all over the world. All of the specialists in our network are distinguished professionals, with a long history of successfully completed projects. Most of our specialists maintain their positions as professors of universities. Thus, the Avalon Institute is not limited by the walls of one single institution, but can employ the services of a broad range of specialists assuring competent and cost-effective services. The broad cultural bandwidth of our staff brings experience from many countries and multilingual capabilities. Our staff is particularly experienced in Eastern European projects.
For more than fifteen years, the Avalon Institute has maintained a strong relationship with Osorno Enterprises Inc. Sharing of office and laboratory space led to a freindly take-over of the Avalon Institute by Osorno in 2012. Since then, the Avalon Institute has formally become Osorno’s science division.
The Avalon Institute provides services ranging from a sample core analysis or water assessment study, to extensive research and development (R&D) projects. Although we undertake complex research projects, the Avalon Institute can partner on ongoing geological, biological, microbiological and environmental research projects, providing highly competent data analysis and interpretation.
